| Franco Bettonica, (1927/1999), architect,
was born in Milan in 1927 and started designing while he was still a
student. He has had a successful career in construction, interiors and industrial design. Since 1969, he has been with Cini&Nils as designer and creative manager, always on the lookout for uniquely innovative, aesthetic and functional objects. Mario Melocchi was born in Parma in 1931. He started working when he was 21, concentrating on advertising. In 1958, he was one of the first in Europe to devote himself to packaging design, from which he gradually evolved towards product design, ultimately opting definitively for the latter after meeting Franco Bettonica.Cini & Nils is the result of the work they have done together with such enthusiasm. |

| Luta Bettonica
(1968), designer, born in Milan, starts her career as designer by working
with her father as soon as got her degree. Franco Bettonica and Mario Melocchi were together her masters and first designing partners. In 1998, together with architect Giancarlo Leone, she opens her own studio in Milan and is involved in design and architecture. She is a designer and the Art Director of Cini & Nils. |
