Roberto Zanon was born in 1963 and received his architecture degree in 1989

Roberto Zanon received his architecture degree in 1989 and he has been listed on the Ordine degli Architetti of Padua since 1990; he consults in interior design, restoration and architecture fields.

In industrial and product design, he has provided professional advice since 1987 for new products utilizing different materials

He participated in several exhibitions with prizes and honourable mentions in many design competitions.

Projects and achievements in architecture and design fields are published on many Italian and foreign magazines, catalogues, newspapers, books, serials TV, films and Internet sites.

He has interests in all the representation techniques and has explored, not only the traditional tools, but the use of computer graphics, arriving to use the computer as a active partner in the projectual process.

 

Since 1995 he has a teaching collaboration at the Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia, in the Corso di Laurea in Disegno Industriale where, in academic year 2000-2001, he is visiting professor in "Fondamenti di progettazione".

At Padua�s Universityhe is visiting professor in �Industrial design� in the academic years 2001-2002, 2003-2004 and 2005-2006; he is visiting professor in �Tecniche di Allestimento� in the academic years 2002-2003, 2003-2004, 2004-2005, 2006-2007 and 2007-2008; he is visiting professor in �Scenografia� in the academic years 2004-2005, 2005-2006, 2006-2007 and 2007-2008.

At Florence University he is visiting professor in �Laboratorio di Disegno� in the academic year 2002-2003; in �Allestimento II� in the academic years 2003-2004 and 2004-2005; in Museografia e Allestimento in the academic years 2004-2005, 2005-2006 and 2006-07.

At Acadey of Fine Arts of L�Aquila he is professor in �Design� in the academic year 2002-2003, at Academy of Fine Arts of Carrara he is professor in �Design� in the academic year 2006-2007 and at Academy of Fine Arts of Torino he is professor in �Design� in the academic year 2007-2008.

 

At Venice�s Universty he is visiting professor in �Museografia e Museotecnica � in the academic years 2004-2005, 2005-2006, 2006-2007 and 2007-2008; in �Museografia e Museotecnica 2� in the academic years 2004-2005, 2005-2006, 2006-2007 and 2007-2008.

During 2001 he is been visiting professor at the Indian Institute of Science of Bangalore in India and at the Universitade Tecnica de Lisboa in Portugal.

In 2002 he is been visiting professor at IVE Department of Design in Hong Kong and at ESAD of Oporto in Portugal and at KMITL of Bangkok in Thailand.

In 2004 he is been visiting professor atUniveritad ICESI of Cali in Colombia.

In 2006 he is been visiting professor atVirginia Commonwealth University School of Arts (VCUQ) of Doha in Qatar and at Creative-i College of Pune in India.

 

In 1995, he co-founded "Y&Z design atrium", an international and multidisciplinary design studio with offices in Italy, USA and Japan.

In 1997 he became member of "MOBAS", a joint venture of product designers from over the world organized to design and develop consumer products.

In 1998 he is founder associate of the "Gruppo di Ricerca e Design" (gRiD), society working in the research and experimentation on the furniture field.

In 2000 he is member of �Wagner Associati� a important consultancy agency of interior and industrial design.

In 2002 he start a projectual partnership with the studio Zan�s in Hong Kong.

In 2003 he is involved in the project for the objects, the layout and the management of the websitedesignobject.it

He is contributing editor in the field of architecture, design and art. In 1999 he became correspondent for the Korean magazine Design Net.

In 2005 he became correspondent for the Hong Kong�s magazine Hinge.
